When you are on the computer, does it seem to do things that aren't "normal" or does it work fine one day and then won't work at all the next day? Are you one of those people who goes through device after device for no apparent reason? Is there other unexplained, almost supernatural, phenomenon that happens with you when it comes to computers and electronics?
Maybe it's your energy field.
Please note that while the phenomenon we are about to discuss is very real for many people (I've personally seen it in action many times) it is not necessarily widely recognized by the scientific or technical communities as a real causality of computer / electronics issues.
An energy field, or electric field, is a physics term used to describe the magnetic fields created in the space surrounding electrically charged particles. Because of our electrically charged particles, our cells and tissues generate electrical fields. This is typically referred to as an "aura," although it's a bit more complicated than that. Should you like to get into the science behind this, here is some information surrounding the possible physics of human energy fields.
It is believed (and seen and experienced by many) that your aura can interfere, interrupt, and even affect and break computers and electronic devices. For some this happens routinely, and they go through device after device, with each one breaking for no apparent reason. For others, the problem is experienced intermittently, like when their emotions are running high, they're overly stressed out, or when they are sick or run down. And yet others still will never experience this phenomenon at all.
One possible reason that human energy fields can affect electronic energy fields is that our modern day electronics all contain quartz crystals which help the internal clocks keep time, and which also help transmit and receive signals. The computer is electrifying and vibrating the quartz using a magnetic field, so if your personal energy field is strong enough, it could affect and even change the frequency at which the crystal is vibrating.
If you are experiencing an abnormal level of computer or electronic weirdness, it could be because you too are experiencing disturbances with your energy field. If this experience is sudden and out of the blue, review how you're feeling. Are you stressed out, angry, or feeling any other strong emotion that could be causing the problem? If you are overly emotional for any reason, try to find ways to calm your emotions and see if that helps the problem. If you're sick or rundown, give yourself some extra TLC and see if the problem is still occurring once you're better.
If you experience these disturbances all the time, such as the man I know who cannot keep a digital camera for longer than a few months because they just stop working, you could have a larger problem with your energy field, one that may be corrected by finding ways to re-ground yourself, along with visiting an energy specialist, such as a Reiki practitioner, who can re-attune and align your chakras (the energy centers at particular points throughout the body).
You can also correct the problem by keeping particular stones or crystals around your desk, to help mitigate the effects of your electric field. Some good crystals to use for this purpose are: black tourmaline, tourmalated quartz, hematite, smokey quartz, or unakite. When you are experiencing effects, either wear the stones, or place them on your desk while you're working.

I have been noticing for a couple years now….that I will have a challenge working on a computer….a glich or won't move forward, won't connect to server etc.
It was proved again to me this week. I was working on a specific program for my business. When I attempted to move forward the numbers would not calculate, the data would not be accessible. My manager would have me move away from the computer and he would take over and it would work fine for him. He would get me to try again, and it would freeze or the calculations would not work. Then he would take over and it would work fine.

I frequently cannot get my computer to do anything. The keys won't move at all, the computer will stop in the middle of an article and won't move up or down. I can't log in at times because the computer won't take my password which I've used for years. My husband gets really annoyed with me and tells me "I'm doing something on purpose"! He sits down and logs in just fine. He tells me he has fixed the problem as usual.
Today he told me that my electrical field, as he calls it, is making the computer not work. I told him this was ridiculous until I found this article. Interesting.

I don't like using our pc because I have frequent issues. My husband says he doesn't know what happens when I sit down at the computer but it was working fine for him. He said not to be offended but some people can't even wear watches.

My dad was a watchmaker, he tried everything, I couldn't wear a watch. He's the one that told me I had this condition. It is very frustrating. The clock in my car has even stopped. There is a certain florescent bulb that flickers at work until I walk under it. Every electronic thing I touch malfunctions, I go through phones like underwear lol and back in the day when we had wall phones, the buttons kept blowing out and I couldn't call anyone!

Do you guys have any other health issues like tiredness, aches, pains, crazy symptoms come and go that doctors can't explain or test results are negative or don't make sense? Over 100 plus symptoms – i mean from infancy until today- unusual amounts of problems come and go or hang around and can't be helped? Mast Cell Activation Syndrome can cause body issues AND human combustion...

I too have joked for years. My kids even tell me to not touch their phones or the tv because it starts to malfunction. I have went through many cell phones and laptops as well. The batteries in watches die if I wear them. I've went for long walks at night and the street lights shut off. I've always though it coincidental until I wrecked a movie rental kiosk and today a 1 hour photo kiosk crashed while trying to print pictures.

Every single car used or brand new that I drive has a dead battery often adds sometimes always. I have replaced so many car batteries and trailer batteries and with no improvement EVER! AT ANYTIME I HAVE WITH ME THREE DEVICES THAT CAN jumP StaRT MY CAR. …BECAUSE ONE OR ALL OF THE JUMPER CABLES DON'T ALWAYS WORK! I have been the laughing stock for 'always leaving my car dome light on' and been called crazy more times than I can remember. …..nobody believes me! I can show them receipts of yet another battery purchase or family can even be with me when my car battery dies at grocery store, we drive thirty minutes to Costco and the car will be dead again there.

I think I need more help than any of you 🙁 My problem is my car. It doesn't matter whether it's the car I own now, or the car I owned before. I sold the previous car 4 years ago – after paying almost 5K in repairs to find out what caused the engine stalling problem, but none of the repairs fixed a thing. I almost killed myself driving this thing and started to think the car wanted to kill me… 🙂 I disclosed the events to the dealer, presenting him with all receipts. I was making sure nobody else killed himself in that car driving it. Alternator, starter, all electronics, electrical wiring check, new battery, even new transmission.
My present car has been with me for 4 years (different make, different everything) and I love it so much because it is reliable to the point that I'd rather drive it for another 10 years than ever buying another one. Well, that confidence ended 2 months ago. It stalled, out of the blue. On the highway. At 70 miles per hour. The ensuing pattern matches exactly what happened with the car I had before, but I didn't "catch on" right away. It stalled a few more times, again on the hwy, and 5 more times going about 40 mph in busy traffic. Yes, I counted. I don't know how a) I didn't kill myself b) I didn't kill anyone else, and c) I didn't get into an accident. EVERYTHING goes out. Lights, steering, breaks, radio. It starts right up again. six weeks ago I had the drive shaft sensor replaced, which fixed the stalling for about 2 weeks. Then it stalled again, same story, rinse and repeat. 2 nights ago I went and bought a new battery.
The car took me to work without a problem, and on the way home it stalled twice on the highway, 4 times crossing an intersection to a safe parking lot, and once I reached the "safe haven" it died before I could park it correctly. DEAD. Would not start.
3 hours later the tow truck started it right up. I just finished talking to the repair shop. "There is absolutely nothing wrong with your car". Nothing. They checked everything and everything is in perfect condition. They drove it. Told me to come pick it up because there is nothing to fix.
Please note that several people have driven my car to try to replicate the problem and none have succeeded. You would have to actually turn off the ignition to get the problem I am experiencing. AGAIN. Tomorrow I'll have someone pick up the car, take it to the car wash, and drive it to a dealer to put it as down-payment towards another car. I just can not bring myself to drive it again. That is some really, REALLY scary stuff. I've always had the feeling that the problem is ME. Today my boyfriend, who doesn't believe in anything 'supernatural' (i.e. if you can't see it it doesn't exist), led me to the internet to check out "People who affect electronics"…..
I did a state of mind review and compared the last 2 months to the "stress level" I was going through when this happened with the first car and YEP, it matches. The interesting thing is that I am LOW in energy now, as I was 4 years ago. Not upset, but very high blood pressure and totally worn down. It almost seems as if my body is drawing energy away from the car……making the engine die.

Sliders: People Who Cause Strange Electrical Phenomena
Despite the name, Sliders phenomena are not limited to street lights only. Often folks who have this "ability" can't wear watches; they will stop working within a couple of days, regardless of how many new batteries are put in them.

Our bodies vibrate at a frequency of approximately 8 cycles per second, which is the same frequency as the Earth's electromagnetic field. i have blown light bulbs, exploded a tv, all when I was really angry. On an every day basis… I have blown through 7 lap top computers 3 tablets, and I have had to replace my cell phone every 3 to 6 months. In addition in the past 2 years I have had to replace my car battery 9 times. In this car the battery is on the drivers side. Unlike other cars i have owned. 3-4 times a year i have to replace my car head lights. Cant wear a watch, like ever and if I hold a compass in my hand it goes around and around and NEVER tells the right direction. My friends and family think it's funny when my cell phone is on my night stand or across the room and it begins to call people at random with out me going near it. Guess i have learned to live with it. Im glad to know im not the only one.

since age 13 these things have been happening to me…my fella made me look this up as he has had 5 laptops just die when ive been near. bulbs blow all the time.. my watches stop …signal on my phone never works properly.. my phone gets a life of its own writing words and going on random apps…in Tesco last year the alarms went off every time i entered the store but if i walked out then in again would not happen.. cd player in car always jumps or freezes as do the electrics and alternators.. 4 hard drives just stopped completely.. go through batteries like no tomorrow.. lamps blow.. probably does not help that i have bipolar disorder and OCD too.. had to wear heart monitor for a week as my heartbeat always goes crazy then seems to stop before catching up again.

Electrical issues run in my family. Both my father and I have issues. My dad is about 80. Ever since battery operated watches were invented he goes thru watch batteries at an alarming rate. I have never had that problem myself (female, mid-40s, software engineer). Both of us corrode eyeglasses at an alarming rate (copper oxidizes, turns green). Silver & copper jewelry turns my skin pretty black - not sure if this matters. I definitely have more of a problem than most women I know. I also had streetlamp issues (turning off when driving by) for several years when I drove one particular car. I had a Mitsubishi Eclipse...so was lower to the ground. Had SLI issues CONSTANTLY. Random. Not at will. I don't seem to have this prob anymore. Since the Eclipse I have been driving SUVs. So higher off the ground. I also have BIG problems with ATMs and touchsreeen phones and tablets. Had to switch back to a phone with a slide-out keyboard cuz the screen was always doing stuff when my finger was half an inch away. Whenever my dad and I talk to each other by cell my old cell phone would drop the call (blackberry style phone). Big static...then zzzzt. The phone would shut down and I would have to power it back up. Never happened with ANYONE else. Just Dad. And he's an hour away. My cat hates me. I'm very staticky. If I get near a lightswitch on a kitchen or bathroom outlet with a test/reset breaker sometimes it blows and the light goes on without me even touching it. Happens when my hand goes near. Always getting MAJOR zaps from my car. Just weird probs with electrical devices. I don't even really notice it anymore. Seems normal to me but other people think I'm nuts.

I was supposed to die at birth, but I didn't. the same when I bled out in 1985, late stage of Cancer in 1987, gassed by a gas leak in 1990, and over 7 heart attacks while still going to work in 2012. I actually know what it looks like to go into the white light and talk to the 18 foot tall beings there. I have always been high voltage, but now I kill any electric item that is subjected to me for any period of time. I am more than used to it. I've lost jobs because of it. Can't run a laser scanner if it keeps dying. If you don't believe what I say is true, unlike a crazy person looking for attention, I have medical records that back up what I say. But that isn't the only affects I have on the material world. My body eats metal. No, not literally. Any metal, even precious metals break down if I wear them. I have wore out countless wedding bands, ear rings, all types of jewelry. I am so strange all the way around. Doctors refer to me as impossible.

for the last year Ive been feeling weird. Last year I was camping and our portable electric stove electricouted me. but it dident hurt, and I held on. My 20 year old sister told me to let go. the whole day I felt energisd. And I kept zapping my sister. the year passed by and I tought little of it. then one day at a store I touched the cart. I got the biggest static zapp ever! then, The next day I just knew. I put some dead batteries in my hand, and yes they were shure dead. I could feel the electric current going dowen my arm. I put the batteries back in the device and it worked. not well, it would turn on for a few seconds then turn of again. that night I found I could drain energie from my little brother and my mom. by the end of the night I was more awake than ever befor... and my mom and brother were drained. over a few days I did a lot of experimenting. I can destroy the waves going to my radio. its harder in a car but its still possible. About a week ago I was outside a store waiting for a cab and I sat on a bench out side. the light above me went off. when the cab got there and I got in the light turned back on. I got home and I went to play with my cat. I piked him up and I zapped him hared. since then he's been avoiding me.
My mother was pregnant with me at full tern when she was electrocuted while cleaning the oven with a wet sponge. The jolt threw her backward so the voltage she received must havebeen pretty strong. I was told there was a lot of consern as I stopped moving, this was 1960 so a "wait and see " attitude was taken. I was born healthy a few weeks latter. I never wore a watch until age 26 when I became a nurse. I wore a series of cheap watches that stopped after a few days of wearing without a thought of any connection to being electrocuted inutero. I received a watch on mothers day from my son, when it stopped I took it to a jeweler who changed the battery without success, it still didn't run. EFFECTS ON ELECTRONICS – RUNS IN FAMILIES?
Some people report that electronic machines shut off or go haywire in their presence. "One time, I was to have my neck lasered in a series of appointments," says Sarah, "and the laser machine broke six times – on six different occasions." Strangely, however, she isn't overloading the electronics. "I went to a science museum and noted that I have an odd effect on the electric experiments," she says. "I actually generate far less electricity than others – about one-fourth the readings of even my six-year-old son. Am I storing the energy?"
Battery-operated watches are frequent victims of these people, and the trait might run in families. "I have the problem with watches and appliances," Murph says. "My sister had the same thing. When she passed away, I found she had a box of 30 watches in her closet. I understood right away!"
Tybald says it runs in his family, too. "The ability to affect electrical devices is well-known on my mom's side of the family," he says. STRESS AND EMOTIONS
Very often, these people have found that there seems to be a connection between these events and how they are feeling. Cynthia's abilities are also pain related: "It usually happens when I have a migraine or a tension-type headache and the lights are bothering me," she reports.
"For me, whenever I was scared, that's when I was releasing the most energy," Colada says. "One website I found said that I needed to figure out a way to mentally ground the energy or to calm myself during these times. So now, whenever I turn on lights in dark rooms, I release a slow breath of air and flick on the light switch at the same time. Since I started doing this, I have gone from burning out one bulb every other day, to one every six months or more."

One of the most annoying aspects of this affliction is that it can get downright expensive when just about every electronic you touch gets destroyed. "I break every pair of headphones I wear," says Josh. "I break every printer I use just by printing on it. I go through one laptop a year. And cell phones never last more than a few months before they are corrupted. I had one phone that would do the strangest thing: Every time the battery died it would send my ex-girlfriend the previous 20 text messages I had sent her – all at once. Talk about an annoying tech problem!"

This is not yet proved. but it is widely reported. It is due to static electricity in some people. Some can improve performance some can spoil the electronic device. Some theories state that it is something with the persons mind. Some say with the soul. Some things have no proper answer your question is one of them. In my personal opinion it is the soul or some thing with the soul may be evil may be good.
Electronic items (i.e. computers, phones, mp3 players...) have a habit of breaking or malfunctioning around me. I always thought it was just a coincidence, but while speaking to a woman I work with, she mentioned that some people have a magnetic current or field that is different or stronger than most that can cause this to happen. She also mentioned that it can be detected in a test done by a nutritionist. Unfortunately I have not been able to find any information online about this. Anyone heard of it?

My wife has been known to break condenser microphones just by touching them, and walky-talkies that work for everyone else won't work for her. There are also certain kinds of watches that stop when she wears them, so she has to be careful in the kinds of watches she buys. I'm not making this up. The condenser microphones she broke were sent back to the manufacturer, who could not find any reason whey they were not working; nothing inside them was broken, they just didn't function. We had used those mics for a concert, and during the strike, she took them from the mic stands and handed them to our sound guy. They never worked again; the manufacturer ended up giving us new mics, and we made a rule that my wife was not allowed to touch any mics.
