mom/pop
over last two decades i advocated/introduced earth balance spread, pure maple syrup, brown sugar, brown eggs, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, chocolate, and other healthy alternative eats, natural medicines and home remedies.
i hope you'll be more adventurous and more ready to try new things vs avoid for two years first aka skip the 1-2 years of avoidance and delay aka cut to the chase and just try it until you like it - the way i do and was taught by my parents a few decades ago to do with foods.
always, my well researched ideas are initially met with ample resistance denial ridicule avoidance, then later it gets adopted into your norm after my visit or dad reads it somewhere a year later crediting other sources. it's a peculiar but repeating pattern/theme.
now I'm again trying to introduce alt milk/butter products incl raw, organic grass fed, goat, nut milk, lactose free, ghee butter, kefir 'liquid yoghurt' probiotics, low mold low acid coffee, and i have been trying a few gluten free products over the years to see which one's taste good, gluten-free is good for most folks, specially older or those with too few key enzymes.
im saying open up to 'try' new stuff a few dozen times vs judge and avoid these natural food/nutrient ideas like the plague, as if they were an attack on your freedom.
just try it 12x before you judge it, allow yourself to not like it a few times, let it grow on you. try it without needing an explanation re every last benefit, as you can read that stuff on my blog or look it up yourself. i'll try anything, even brussel sprouts done in new ways. its the same open-minded adventurous spirit required, there is no difference at all.
most dairy/lactose/gluten foods, have no nutrients that adults need, and as we age many of us will have a tougher time processing items the body doesnt need back out of our body.
kefir is 'liquid yogurt' probiotics, who doesn't like that? it's tasty milky full of good stuff for your gut microbiota - few foods do more to strenghten your immune system! its been in the fridge alongside coconut milk for months, with no takers. if it wasn't tasty i wouldn't eat it!
try it until you like it! 😉
try it until you like it! 😉
like fluoride, even if you believe it has dental benefits for growing kids, all studies agree that there is zero benefit to anyone over 18, only risk/detriment, so buy fluoride-free toothpaste! i personally don't believe there are any benefits and would never give any kid any fluoride.
