vertigo/coldsweat episode + heartburn/reflux/gerd symptoms

my heart passes inspection everytime we test it (grateful), so dont see need to question it first this time, and i am confident the acidic burn was in my throat/esophogus (as i felt a hint of it again this morning and other mornings, just never as intense).  and i did eat at 9p/10p then reclined on bed instead of sit for an hour which can exacerbate heartburn/reflux.  that makes simplest sense.

but what explains the vertigo episode in tandem?  pure coincidence.  the sudden forward tilt of my head apparently can loosen crystals in inner ear and can trigger such.  one wants to link it all to a single source but they may be two separate occurring simultaneously, perhaps both triggered by dehydration.  i know i didn't drink much afternoon ice tea as i should or per my plan, sipped coffee all pm instead, as i've been done every few days in 2019 - the cold/rainy days.   that's my best guess, not the heart.

hydrating is the single biggest step i can take so its the natural thing i will do.

the only possible way they'd be linked, in my view, is if all of it relates to neural tissue inflammation/infection.  when that's the case, pain or numbness at point x can be referred from inflammation far away.  like a pinch in neck can cause phantom toothpain dental xrays can't validate or tingly fingers (got both), inflamed tissues anywhere from brain/ears to bottom of spine, could cause cold/numb/twitch/cramps/pain in feet and hands and headaches, but probably nausea, breathing issues, even mess up metabolism, thus create excess gas and reflux (got those too).

so i'd wager on a neural link aka neurology not cardiology.  hydrating is the simplest intervention to focus on.  added a few observations incl:
  • noises/lights have been bothering me for a while now, more notably in last few weeks of 2019.  twitching in hand also more noticeable.

it was unlikely food poisoning as nobody else got sick from same foods.  once you look into it, it sounds like a 'vertigo attack'.  food poisoning does not cause vertigo, and given all my other symptoms week to week it all fits with what neurologist said last week, will share those notes...

to recap episode:
  • at 5a awoke with intense acidic fiery hot heartburn, tried to burp and fart out any/all gas no go, took papaya pill, needed faster relief.
  • felt butterflies in abdomen, but not yet nauseous, sensation from butterflies to nausea switched on a dime only once in bathroom.
  • at the same time as suddenly leaning forward to puke, a 10-15min vertigo spell started if i opened my eyes.
  • i tried to go back to bedroom to get my waste basket and empty its contents into bathroom basket to have bedside bucket but had no balance, had to hold myself up using the walls and counter top.  it was an alice in wonderland 'bad trip' sensation.
  • thought it a good idea to go #2, but sleepy bowels (or half-numb) wouldn't move as normal/effortless, had to really focus to move it.
  • two rounds minimal upchuck, no food puke, just gut fibers
  • waited in bathroom eyes closed for vertigo spell to pass.  started a glass of electrolyte water.

afterward:
  • very warm forehead to touch aka presumably mild fever, couldnt find thermometer, but hands could've been colder than normal, as my feet were.
  • uneasy stomach so took 2 charcoal pills midday to absorb any poisons in blood/tissue (wanted to do this immediately after puking, but did not know where the pills were, completely forgot the bottle was on my nightstand ex. confusion)
  • [still 15% unsettled 2 days later as i edit this]
  • headache thu and a hint fri (not unexpected)
  • relentless ongoing cramps and twitching all day long  (maybe low electrolyte salts/minerals ex. potassium/magnesium for some metabolic reason?)
  • louder than usual ringing in ear
before and after:
  • noises/lights have been bothering me for a while now, more notably in last few weeks.
  • low-grade headaches have been bothering me for a while now, more notably 2-3x/wk in last few weeks.
  • twitching in thumb/middle finger has been bothering me for a while now, more notably in last few weeks incl tingly/numb thumb/index
  • tingly/numb left foot has been bothering me for a while now, more notably in last few weeks.  now more constant after vertigo episode.
